Truck to rail oil transfer depots are piquing interest in Northern Sunrise County.

At the County’s council meeting yesterday (June 11) Altex Energy, a Calgary-based company and Savage, an American-based company were both in attendance for separate public hearings – prior to second reading – to re-zone agricultural lands to crude oil storage districts, with the intention to build such depots.
