Council voted Tuesday to send the Hawrelak Park beach idea back to administration, effectively postponing any construction for at least a year.

Mayor Stephen Mandel asked city staff to develop cost estimates for a wading pool near the playground at Hawrelak, after a city committed voted down the original location beside the lake.
