A boost to primary health care may be on the horizon for Peace River.

Last Tuesday (June 4) the Alberta government announced that Peace River is one of 24 communities in the province eligible to apply for a Family Care Clinic (FCC). The community was identified by the government as having a greater need for access to primary health care and is considered to have the capacity to sustain a FCC.
