Canadian economy growing slightly, but well off U.S. level

Statistics Canada reported on Friday that real gross domestic product (GDP) grew 0.1 per cent in the first quarter of this year, the same growth rate as the fourth quarter of 2018.

Moratorium lifted on new retail cannabis licence applications

AGLC has lifted the moratorium in Alberta on accepting new retail licence applications for cannabis stores and issuing new retail licences due to what it says is a steady increase in cannabis supply.
