At the end of March, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation reported 593 new multi-family homes were in inventory in the Calgary CMA, with 10,398 under construction.

The Re/Max real estate report for Calgary for the first quarter of 2016 says there is more inventory on the market than last year. “Properties that sell are those that are priced correctly and show well,” says the report. “While continued uncertainty in the oil industry has made some buyers hesitant, there is interest in the market and open houses are busy.”
