Population growth slows for first time since pandemic as feds clamp down: StatCan

OTTAWA — Population growth in Canada slowed slightly in the last quarter of the year as the government made efforts to reduce temporary migration into the country, Statistics Canada revealed Wednesday.

Following the province’s announcement of the School Construction Accelerator Program, the Calgary Catholic School District (CSSD) announced that constructing a new elementary/ junior high school in Airdrie from its 2025–2028 Capital Plan is already fully planned and prepared to start.
