Work on South Bear Creek Park expansion completed

The South Bear Creek Park expansion, which includes two new ball diamonds at the South Bear Creek Park Baseball Diamond Complex, is complete. The expansion work started in May of 2022 after the city received $800,000 from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, which was used for the project’s completion.

An Auckland landlord who claimed his flood-damaged property was fully inhabitable, and took photos of a tenant while he was sleeping to prove it, has been ordered to pay several thousand dollars to the tenants.
