Rents climb even higher as supply remains tight in Louth

Market rents in Louth were on average 6.4% higher in the first quarter of 2025 than a year previously, according to the latest Rental Report by Daft.ie, with the average listed rent now €1869, up 49% from the level prevailing when the Covid 19 pandemic occurred.

Middle East Property Market Attracts Chinese Investors

The property market in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, is witnessing a surge in interest from Hong Kong and mainland China. According to a report from the South China Morning Post, Hong Kong’s Gaw Capital recently invested over US$150 million in a residential building in Abu Dhabi.

Fort Saskatchewan City Council approves 5.40% municipal property tax increase for 2025

City Council passed the 2025 Property Tax Bylaw at the May 13 regular Council meeting. The bylaw is based on the City’s approved 2025 operating budget of $100.2 million and a capital budget of $14.2 million.
