Alberta invests $50 million to upgrade City of Airdrie’s wastewater system

Town of Sylvan Lake signs lease agreement for lakefront

The Town of Sylvan Lake has entered into a lease agreement with the Province of Alberta for over 18 hectares of the lakefront north of the retaining wall, including sand and water.

Students heading to university this autumn may want to consider more than just league tables. New data from SpareRoom reveals that rent costs at the UK’s top 20 universities differ by as much as £10,908 over a typical three-year degree – depending on where students choose to live.

Property Prices Rise Near Airports in India: Report Shows 74% Growth in 5 Years

A new study shows that land and apartment prices near airports in India have gone up more than other areas. This increase happened between 2021 and 2025, after the COVID-19 pandemic. Experts say the demand for property may rise up to 50 km around airports.

Demand for short-term rentals in Milan collapses

It was only last October when people were discussing the rise of temporary rentals in major Italian cities. It was an increasingly popular option, especially among out-of-town students and young workers, based on short-term contracts ranging from 30 days to 18 months, offering flexibility and speed in response to a growing demand for housing mobility.
