Local unemployment in January shows few monthly, year-over-year changes

The new year in the census region covering Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo started with unemployment largely unchanged from the start of 2023, according to data from Statistics Canada. However, last month reported more people in the labour force compared to January 2023.

Greenview commits $500,000 towards Grande Prairie medical centre, providing accessible services to Peace Region

Keyano cuts the ribbon on $900,000 esports arena

RMWB council approves developing plan for outdoor rinks in backyards, municipal land

Council has unanimously asked the administration to develop and update a policy that lets homeowners build temporary outdoor skating rinks on or adjacent to their property.
