The province’s new education property tax policy will result in a marginal break for Edmonton homeowners.
Every year the province levies an education property tax on all Alberta cities, and this year their estimating Edmonton homeowners will see a $20 drop in their bill.
“For this budget the requisition is $399 million — that’s 2% higher than it was last year,” said city spokesman Jason Darrah, Friday.
