Cochrane Mayor Truper McBride sees the potential for the Calgary Regional Partnership to play a larger role in conserving wetlands with the release of a new Alberta Wetlands Policy, last Tuesday.

McBride said he welcomes the beginning of the framework announced by the province but is anxious to know how it will be implemented, something that will take some time to develop.
