Provincial funding to build new seniors residence approved

5 Avenue North reopens

LETHBRIDGE – 5 Avenue North between 23 Street North and 28 Street North is now open to traffic. As of 5 a.m. Friday morning, traffic was once again flowing in both directions with new traffic lights installed and in operation.

U of L solid at No. 3 in Maclean’s university rankings

The University of Lethbridge has solidified its reputation as a university of choice for students and one of the strongest research universities in its class, with a third-place national ranking in the Primarily Undergraduate category of the annual Maclean’s university rankings.

GDP growth slows in August as Canadian economy grows 0.1 per cent

Real gross domestic product edged up 0.1 per cent across the country in August, following increases of 0.4 per cent in June and 0.3 per cent in July, reported Statistics Canada on Friday.

Oklahoma company moves forward on building Alberta propylene plant

Oklahoma-based Williams is pushing forward with its plan to develop a propane dehydrogenation facility and has found a partner to build a complementary plant on the same site near Redwater.

New Sylvan Lake medical imaging centre expected to open in early spring
