City to expand holiday bus service in 2014

In 2014, the city will start running buses on 10 holidays throughout the year, not including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, said Will Steblyk, manager of planning and customer service at St. Albert Transit.

City transit needs to be improved

The City of Lethbridge is looking at ways to improve bus transit. It definitely needs to be improved. Lethbridge, at one time, had a nice streetcar service that ran from downtown to the east end and north and south. That would have been the glory days of public transit.
