A $160 million funding promise for Calgary cancer centre in new Alberta budget

Calgary’s long-awaited new cancer centre got its first major infusion of cash as the province promised to spend $160 million over the next three years – including $20 million this year – to get the project up and running, with an opening day pegged for summer 2020.
