Shovel in dirt for new H.S.
Construction of the last piece of the Community Knowledge Campus has officially started, with a ceremonial sod turning on Friday.
The 11,000 square-foot public high school is scheduled to open in Sept. 2014.

U of A to increase admission requirements to much-in-demand science faculty
EDMONTON- For the fourth year in a row, the University of Alberta science faculty is raising admission requirements to reduce enrolment, which is now 600 higher than provincial funding covers.
High school graduates will now need a minimum mark of 80 per cent to get into the school.
