Home sales for April remained steady in Medicine Hat compared to last year after the real estate market lost some ground in the first four months of 2013.
“The numbers look extremely similar to last April, to the point that they’re almost identical,” said Murray Schlenker, the president of the Medicine Hat Real Estate Board.

CALGARY — Calgary experienced the best monthly price growth in Canada for repeat home sales in March, according to a national survey.
The Teranet-National Bank National Composite House Price Index, released Wednesday, said Calgary prices rose 1.3 per cent after three months of decline totalling 2.2 per cent.
