Through partnerships, planning and a growing economy, Leduc County is anticipating even more urban and commercial growth in 2013.
“The stage is set for quite a lot more development,” commented county mayor John Whaley, during his state of the address during the Leduc Chamber’s luncheon at the Nisku Inn on Friday, Jan. 11.

Leduc County council has unanimously agreed to support an application for regional collaboration funding for an initiative to work with Parkland County, Strathcona County and others to share experience and work toward best practices regarding private sewage and communal wastewater systems.
Pending council approvals, Parkland County and Strathcona County have shown vested interest in the initiative.
