Today Rudy Friesen, General Manager of Exhibition Park, provided an update on the redevelopment plans for Exhibition Park.
The update outlined the work completed to date by a joint Committee, which is made up of members from Exhibition Park Board of Directors, City Council, a member each from the Chamber of Commerce and County of Lethbridge, and a member at large. The joint committee was formed in 2009 to specifically examine redevelopment.

Instead of farming out St. Albert’s social master plan to some private consultant, the city has taken a unique approach to its development — relying on the public.
In his update to city council on the status of the city’s next master plan, Scott Rodda, director of Family and Community Support Services, described how local residents have grabbed a hold of and are driving its development.
