Record oilsands spending in 2014 forecast

CALGARY — Capital spending in the Alberta oilsands will rise to a record of about $32 billion in 2014 and more than half of it will go to in situ projects, according to a report by Calgary investment bank Peters & Co.

CALGARY – A TD Canada Trust Holiday Poll says 52 per cent of Albertans say they will overindulge during the holidays and they are most likely to overspend on gifts (65 per cent) and entertainment (41 per cent).
