City starts property inspections to determine 2014 tax rate
Property inspections are underway in Airdrie to help determine assessment values for the 2014 tax rate.
During the months of May to August, City staff will be going door to door in the communities of Big Hill Springs; Woodside; Summerhill; Waterstone; the Village, formally known as Old Town; Bayside and some farm properties.

Airdrie’s building inspection fees to increase
Council passed its building inspection fees bylaw, which will see fees increase by about $145,000 per year, Dec. 3.
The bylaw was tabled at two previous council meetings on Sept. 4, to allow input from area builders and trades, and Nov. 19, when council passed second reading.
